EPISODE 1: ASSIGNMENT, GIVEN GLORY OF THE SHUDDAN

ABOUT: The introduction of characters.

A cruel intergalactic Mafia known as the Warúi from the darkest regions of the unknown universe have take hostage of millions of people. Their new main objective is to posses the prophesied 'holy being' and they know the Shuudan knows about it. Some hyena-like creators known as the Mismaodas are kidnapping people from Earth and transporting them into prison cells. The Mismaodas work for Esclavar, the warrior assigned by the Yóri mo takái who five out the orders of the Warúi. The master of the Warúi that adheres everything is Portentous but no one knows how he looks like, it's been a while.

The Shuudan is a training center on the planet Juno where squadrons are assigned on missions. While all this things are happening, a new team must be made to face the Warúi and stop them once and for all.

At the docking bay of the Shuudan complex, a spaceship has landed. Candace, a ranger that has taken a leave of absence returns to the Shuudan to meet with the Elders. Candace entered the building from the docking bay doors. She was holding a handbag. "My family was abducted while I was somewhere else in my personal business…", Candace thought. Candace walks to the huge door of the Nine Elders' conference room. She took a deep breath and said, "I wonder why the Elders want me to be a leader of a new team. I should be punished." She pushed opened the left door. A voice from inside said, "Don't be so hard on yourself."

In the Elder's Meeting Chamber. Nine elders sat behind an arc table. Candace stood in the center of the room. Behind the elders is a large window wall. The elders include: A distinguished heavy set man, a robotic female, a small droid, a ninja, in the center a tall woman in a hooded brown cloak (we can't really see her face but her skin is fairly dark, a white haired blue-toned Pedaion, a weathered old elf, a Samurai and a lone dusty warrior. "Forgive me for reading your mind, Candace," the Head Elder spoke. "It's all right, I'm used to it," Candace said in a near mumble that the Head Elder at least vivid for her to hear.

"We are aware that Warúi has taken your family as well. It is not like us to assign a Ranger to a mission that may involve their personal life but we have faith you will do a valuable leader. You're mission to stop the Warúi once and for all," the Head Elder delivered. Candace quickly responded, "I accept the mission. Who is on the team?" "Well, for one, you're former teammate, Kiro.," she answered. Candace smiled, "Kiro has returned to the Shuudan?" Kiro came inside the room, next to Candace, going to hug her. She hugged him. "Hey girl, was sup? Looks like we're back together," Kiro said. Candace responded cockily, "Sure does. How do you feel that now I'm the leader?" "I've come to accept it," Kiro paused and then continued, "For the past three seconds."

Later inside the Technical Lab in the Shuudan. Candace and Kiro went to see the third member of the Keikenranger team. She answered, "I'm Paige, the head technician here. My prototype mecha I've created are the only ones left. All other mecha are on missions all over the universe. I've been assigned by the higher-ups to watch over the arsenal and machinery." Kiro asked, "You don't trust us with the technology?" "No, I don't. Especially with what you did with the last ones." Candace agreeing, "Uh-huh." Kiro, of course a bit pissed, turned his head to Candace and she turned her face looking the other way. She was whistling. Just then, a Chinese guy with wavy hair and a young Hispanic woman walk in. "Hi, I'm Coribun," the man said with a mandarin accent. "I'm Isis," the girl said. Kiro astounded said, "A rookie?" "Yes, I'm young but I can do the job," Isis reputed. "The Elders have strange ways," Candace jested. "But never explain themselves," Paige added, her arms crossed.

Candace, Kiro, Isis, Paige and Coribun were all wearing Shuudan uniforms. The uniforms are teal body suits but there are two color stripes that define what rank you're in. For example, all staff has a light teal stripe. A student has a white stripe, a rookie has white and yellow and an established warrior with one mission under his/her mission has a light teal and golden stripe. Candace had light teal and two golden stripes. Kiro had one gold stripe, Isis had white and yellow and Coribun had light teal stripe. Paige who was a head technician had a violet and scarlet stripe. The elders had special robes that are brown with golden and baize rims.

After they got acquainted, Paige pulls out an equipment box from her desk. She opened the box revealing five small wrist worthy devices and said, "These transforming are called the Glorifiers. The last amount of energy the Elders could squander for us." Coribun look at them and then raised his head up to Paige. He asked, "What is the name of the team?" "The Keiken Rangers," she answered. In a serious trance, Kiro put the top of his fingers in his mouth and explained, "Keiken means some form of Glory." "It appears the Elders have that much faith in us," Candace puffed. Isis in a very anxious pace said, "I say we try them out now!" Kiro, Isis, Coribun and Candace each grabbed one of the Glorifiers. Coribun asked, "How do we know what color we get?" "We find out when the light on the Glorifier lights up," Paige answered while she was putting down the box and taking her glorifier.

Coribun studied the Glorifier. There was a "K" button, a "W" button and "E" button. He clicked the "K" button. The lights blinked bright golden yellow. Kiro asked, "What is the command call?" "Must I tell you everything?" Paige answered. Candace stared into her transformation device and lightly whispered, "Glorification." Kiro turned to her swiftly, "Are you sure?" Candace bit her lip and nodded. "Let's do it then," Coribun said. Candace brought the device to in front of her and commanded, "Ready?" The other four nodded. "Glorification!!!", all five of them showed. Paige's Glorifier glowed pink and he changed into Keiken Pink. Coribun's Glorifier glowed yellow and he changed into Keiken Yellow. Isis' Glorifier glowed blue and she changed into Keiken Blue. Kiro's Glorifier glowed blackish light and he changed into Keiken Black. Candace's Glorifier glowed red and she changed into Keiken Red. All the rangers fully transformed and ready. Blue shouted, "These suits are awesome!" "I'm going to kick some butt!," Yellow exclaimed. "Glad to be back in business," Red said. "If you say so," Black said. Pink asked, "Do the suits have to be so tight?"

Few minutes later, they were watching the huge screen. Esclavar is on the screen. Pink said, "Esclavar is the first henchmen sent from Warúi." "The first?" Isis asked. "Presumably," Pink answered. Yellow commented, "We can't make the first move." Red agreed, "That's right, we have the wait." Black just mummer, "Hmm…"

Meanwhile Esclavar, two Mismaodas (the hyena creatures) and four Dims attacking an Earth city. Esclavar said, "Let's see if the Shuudan sends their rejects!" One Mismaoda said, "I'm ready for a laugh!" Another one said, "They think they can beat the ultimate criminals in all the universe!" Five colored lights land from the sky to Earth revealing the Rangers. Red yelled, "We were sent here to stop you from your fiendish crimes!" Blue: "You better watch out, dude!" Yellow: "You don't know who you messing with!" Pink: "You choose a bad time to show up."

Black: "Don't even speak because you're dead for me!" Esclavar shrugged and dusted off their comments by jesting, "Who are you fools?" They all made stances, presenting themselves. "Keiken Pink." "Keiken Black." "Keiken Blue" "Keiken Yellow." "Keiken Red." "We are the Shindou Sentai Keikenranger," they said. Esclavar scoffed and said, "You don't know what you are in for. Portentous, the leader of the Warúi is just amusing himself with your pathetic super hero trainees. Soon you'll just be a faded memory!"

Black and Blue start fighting the two Mismaodas. Black said, "We'll see about that!" Pink and Yellow fight the Dims, while Red faces Esclavar. Esclavar resists fighting red. Blue and Black flip over the Mismaodas. Pink and Yellow destroyed the Dims. Red asks Esclavar why he won't fight her. Esclavar says "You think you are ready, Candace but you're not." Candace pauses in a daze. The others finish fighting the Dims. Just then Esclavar and two Mismaodas carrying dead Dims on their shoulders disappear.

After that, when they returned to the Shuudan headquarters, the team regrouped in their meeting room. Candace asked them, "How he knew my real name?" Paige said, "Looks like we aren't the only ones with information on each other."

Meanwhile at the Warúi lab, The Agent and Esclavar in. The Agent is a scientist that works for the Warúi. He is old, crinkled, disfigured and short, with a large oval head which one top of his nose are strangle round eyeglasses. The eyeglasses made his eyes look bigger than they really were, no one ever seen his eyes by themselves but people have said they are smaller than mole's eyes. The Agent said in seriously angry tone, "You shouldn't have mentioned her name, Esclavar." "I don't even know how I knew her name," Esclavar said in deep thought. "Don't worry about," said the Agent, placing his crippling tiny hands on Esclavar's shoulder. "All right Agent. You have been helping me since the beginning. If I could remember when that was," Esclavar said. Esclavar head for the door. "I'm going to my hub to ponder," Esclavar said. "You do that," the Agent snubbed. Esclavar leaves the Agent in the room.
