EPISODE 10: OWNER OF THE SWORD, RED FACES THE MURDERER OF HER BROTHER

ABOUT: After accepting the truth over her brother's death, Candace faces his murderer.

Last we left the Keiken Rangers… Giselle, an assassin sent to replace Esclavar, killed Red's brother Curtis. But Candace must accept the truth that Curtis was Esclavar. At the Burial Ceremony on an Earth cemetery the five unmorphed Keikenrangers and Morris, Candace's boyfriend gathered around the casket being lowered into the grave. Isis has a dark blue Spanish burial dress and veil on. Paige in a black dress and hat with pink flower. Candace has straight hair in a beautiful black coat and black dress and soft hat. Kiro in a Japanese Kondo suit and Coribun in a black version of his regular outerwear. Isis crying and tears running down on Paige's face. Kiro had a very hard face and Coribun's face was deeply sad. Candace stood there ranging in various emotions.

The priest there did the ceremony. "Our brother Curtis has been committed to the ground… ashes to ashes, dust to dust…." Candace couldn't pay attention, she just couldn't stand the fact that her brother was turned against her and now dead. Kiro understood her sorrow. He will yet to tell his team mates why. Coribun thought, "Death is terrible. We live and then we die." Isis thought, "Poor Candace. Poor her brother, Curtis. I didn't even know him. Except for what I know from what Candace had said about her family. I can't believe he was kidnapped, brainwashed and turn against us." Paige was thinking. "Should I get a new scanner? I've been meaning to get one."

The casket went down in the ground. We see the back of Candace's head she saw a dark figure near the green bushy trees. That figure is Giselle. Giselle pulls out Esclavar's sword, the Trial Sword. Giselle said to herself, "With his sword, I shall strike you down, Red." Then Giselle disappeared. Candace bowed her head with her eyes closed.

Later at the pier, Candace and her boyfriend Morris are together. "I'm sorry we are together under these circumstances," Candace said. "I will always be here for you," Morris said. "Morris, you are the best," Candace said. "I know I am," Morris said surprisingly modest. Candace and Morris kissed. Giselle then appeared behind Candace. She felt her dark essence behind her. "Teleport out, Morris," Candace fiercely commanded Morris with a tremor in her voice. "But--," Morris said. "Now!", Candace said, tossing her teleporting device at his hand. He quickly placed it on. "I love you," Candace and Morris said simultaneously. Morris teleported out. Giselle stood there in front of Candace. "Wise idea for your boyfriend to get out of the way," Giselle said.

It took a while for Candace for speak but she died with an intuitive tone, "You killed Curtis, didn't you?" "Clever girl. I give you extra points since we never met before," Giselle sneered. Candace asked, "What reason did you have to kill my brother?" Giselle gently said, "It is simple my dear…" Giselle took out the Trial Sword of her pocket and then she switched to attack mode. "The same reason I'm going to kill you!" Giselle came at Candace with the sword as in attacking her. "I don't think so," Candace dodges the attack Giselle misses in attack. Candace shouted, "I'm set on paying revenge to Curtis' murderer and that's what I'm going to do!" Candace transformed into Keiken Red, "Glorification!". Red fought Giselle who has Esclavar's Trial Sword. "I go to warn you I killed four rangers before," Giselle jousted. Keiken Red looked at the sword Giselle held in her hands and thought, "That's Esclavar's sword. No, that's my brother's sword. Even though it was against his will, that is still a part of him."

Red fought Giselle and got the sword from her. Red stroked Giselle with the sword on her left arm. Giselle held her wounded arm. She gasped for air. Giselle disappeared. Candace pulled up the sword and smiled.

Later, at Morris' grave. Candace and Morris stood at the grave. Candace placed the Trial Sword on Curtis' grave. Morris hugged Candace by the grave. "I wish I cold have saved him before this happened," Candace said. "There was no way you could have known Curtis was Esclavar," Morris said. "No, but it was my fault he was singled out," she said. "It's not your fault," he said. "But somehow the Warúi knew I was going to be part a team to stop them," She said. "Now you making this hard." "Sorry, I don't mean to." "It will take time to accept." "I know, that's what people keep telling me." "Well, its true." "I just wish he knew how much I love him." "He knows you love him," Morris said. Candace nodded. "I hope you know how much I love you," she said. " I know I love you," he said.
