EPISODE 53: MISPLACED FAITH

ABOUT: Isis encounters an "Angel" while the Flaring Roadster gets a flat tire.

One raining day at a Supermarket, Isis, Kiro and Coribun walking down an aisle, on left is bread and on right is milk and orange juice. Coribun has the shopping cart. "Don't forget the milk," Isis said touching her the crucifix on her necklace around her neck. Coribun looked at a milk carton. "This one expires next week," he said. "We won't be here for far that long," Kiro said. Isis looks at Kiro who is rather smug and asked, "Are you being optimistic that the elders while bring Shuudan headquarters fully operational again?" "I do not know what to tell you. Really," Kiro answer. Coribun paid the grocery cash register lady for the food (tomatoes, celery, cheese, milk, etc.) Isis and Kiro next to Coribun. Kiro is reading a motorcycle magazine and Isis is reading Teen People. "Cash or credit?" "Cash," Coribun said. Kiro asked Isis mocking her, "So what is Britney up to now?" "Mock all you want, I'm not listening," Isis said.

In the parking lot, Coribun, Kiro and Isis with groceries go to their Flaring Roadster (disguised as a regular car). Coribun asked, "Why do I have the heaviest groceries?" "The mysteries of the universe," Isis answered. Kiro asked, "Hey, Isis, aren't you the creator of the universe? Aren't you supposed to know that?" "Believe me, I'm still fuzzy on the details," Isis said.

Kiro driving the car, Coribun on the passenger seat and Isis sitting behind them. "We got to the gas station. The Flaring Roadster's tank is almost empty," Kiro said. "Kay," Coribun said. The roadster going into a gas station. Coribun paid for the gas. Kiro pumped gas. Isis said to Kiro, " I need to go to the bathroom." "Go right ahead," Kiro said. She goes to the restroom. "I hope this one is not dirty," she said. Later, Isis comes out of the restroom. Isis sees park area near the restroom and something catches her eyes. "What is that?"

She seems two dims attacking someone. "Dims!" She rushed to them. She fought the Dims and they went away. The someone the Dims attacked seem different. He looked human but he had blue skin and long wings. He was on the ground. Isis thought to herself, "An angel?"

Meanwhile, Coribun notices flat tires on the roadster. Kiro offers to help fix it. "Yo, man, there is two flatten tires," Coribun said. Kiro asked, "How did that happen?"

The Dims teleported away. Isis went to the stranger. Isis asked, "Are you all right?" He didn't say a thing. He was still wounded. "I won't hurt you. Come on out." He tried to stand up, he was creeping up slowly. As he stood up, his wings spread out wide. The left wing is severely damaged. His wing is bleeding. "Oh, you're wing, are you all right?" The angel tries to speak but Isis stops him. "Don't speak, it seems you're too hurt. Here, let me talk care of your wounds," Isis said. Isis tended to the angel's wounds with bandages. He is kneeling down. "It takes time to heal but you will be all right," Isis said. The angel groaned of pain as he tries to get up, Isis touches his chest. Isis asked, "Trust me, it will get better. Listen, I have to go, keep in touch?"

Isis hands him the neck that was around her neck. "Here. Have this, to remember me by. My name is Isis. My mother gave it to me…" She then realized the truth, "Well she wasn't really my mother. I really am her's." Isis kissed the angel's forehead. "I wish I knew what was your name, fallen angel." Isis left him. He whispered, "Nikolud." The cold breeze blew in the air.

Isis sees Coribun and Kiro adding new tires to the roadster. Isis asked, "What happened?" "Someone punched out the tires while I wasn't looking," Coribun said. "I bought these new tires and we are adding them," Kiro said. Kiro opening his front door of the roadster, preparing to enter the car while Coribun had his arms out looking at Isis, Isis hoping in the back of the car. The car is a convertible. Isis asked, "How could someone punch all four tires?" "I don't know, I contacted Paige to investigate who could have done it," Coribun said. "There is nothing else to do here, let's go home," Kiro said. Isis in the back seat pondering. Isis thought to herself, "Angels are god's messengers. … Are they my messengers?"

Meanwhile in the darkest regions of the universe. The Yóri mo takái headquarters, a council of nine dark elders. "Call upon the Nikolud!" Nikolud enters the meeting room. It is the same angel Isis saved. An elder asked, "Did you win her confidence?" "That I did," Nikolud said. "It is all set then. With her confidence, you will lure her to our legion," another dark elder said. "That I will," Nikolud said.

Later at the Loft. Candace and Kiro talking in the hotel penthouse that is called The Loft living room. "Paige is still working hard to find out who could have punch out the roadster's tires and why," Candace said. "All I know is that the Warúi are extremely lame if they are ones who did this," Kiro said. "Everything has a reason," Candace said. Devon folding clothes and Isis sitting on opposite beds in a room. They are there because Shuudan is currently in another dimension because the untitled push a mecha towards the headquarters and almost destroyed it. Isis asked, "Do you know why I still don't know all the details of my origin?" "Well the Head Elder predicted you would regain your knowledge gradually," Devon said. Isis asked, "How long is gradually?" Devon ironing clothes while Isis listens. "It is a progression in continuous stages," Devon said. "Oh," Isis said. Devon stops ironing and goes to Isis, who is worried looking. "I'm afraid I'll never live up to my own expectations," Isis said. "Everyone does that, it's natural," Devon said. Devon hugs Isis. Isis asked, "Isn't the creator of the universe supposed to live up to expectations?" "Point taken, but it's just a theory," Devon said. Isis sighs. "Yeah, a theory…," Isis said. "We are here for you," Devon sympathizes.

Paige is in the living room couch working on a laptop in The Loft living room and Candace goes to her. "Paige, you have been working on that computer all night, you should go to bed," Candace said. "But I think I can get a handle on to who punched those tires," Paige said. Candace said concerned, "Get some rest. Will go see Balthazar tomorrow." "All right, you may be right," Paige said. "Besides, with some beauty rest, you'll look great for your son," Candace said. "Okay," Paige said.

Later that night, Isis sleeping in a bed with Paige. She gets up from bed. Isis thought to herself, "I can't stay at peace. That angel is in my thoughts. I wonder where he is." Isis looked out the window into the dark night sky with piercing bright stars. "Should I tell them I saw a fallen angel? Why didn't I tell my friends?" Paige sleeping in her bed. A digital timer clock on a night table. Isis concerned, tough looking. "Only time can tell. The answer will come to me, gradually," Isis said.
