EPISODE 54: CYST AND DESIST, THE UNDOING OF THE DESPERATE MOTHER

ABOUT: Balthazar develops a strange mark on his body and Paige tries to remove it but it is actually the Hadaquin calling card.

Paige gets up from bed and yawns. "I love my beauty rest." Candace in a workout outfit comes in and tells Paige to get up. Candace yelled, "Get the hell up, you missed the morning exercise!" Kiro, Coribun, Devon and Isis came in the room all beaten up, well, Isis is just sweaty. "Believe me, you didn't miss anything," Kiro said. "Except for Candace kicking Kiro's ass," Coribun said laughing. Candace pulls Paige's ear to get up. "Hey, what's the big idea? You told me to get some beauty rest," Paige said. "You're mom called eleven times! She says it's important," Candace said. Isis sighs. Isis thought to herself, "Should I tell them about the fallen angel I healed yesterday?"

Paige is dressed and with Candace stepping outside the Loft. "Thanks again for accompany me to visit Balthazar at my mom's," Paige said. "No prob, your mom needs security anyway," Candace said. Candace and Paige turn from the door and look at Isis who is reading a book on the Loft's living room sofa relaxed lying. Candace asked, "Are you sure you don't want to join us Isis?" "Nah, that's all right. I rather be alone," Isis said. Paige asked, "Are you sure?" Isis puts down the book. "I'm good." Candace gives up in convincing Isis and sighs, "Okay." Candace says to Paige, "Come on, the guys are waiting for us in the Flaring Roadster."

Meanwhile in the garage of the hotel. Kiro and Devon in the Flaring Roadster but we see the front part of the car more than anything. Kiro is quiet. Coribun is in the back seat. Devon wants to break the ice, so he says, "So… you're straight. How's that like?" Kiro keeps quiet. Coribun's eyes become wide. Candace and Paige hop in the roadster next to Coribun. Candace asked, "Everything all right here?" "Yes ladies. If you consider silence all right," Coribun said. "Yeah, that's all right," Candace said.

Later at Paige's mother's house. Paige, Coribun and Devon at the front door of the house. Kiro in the driver seat of the Flaring Roadster. Candace outside next to him. Candace asked, "Why you're not going in?" "Last time I did I was accused of being Paige's future husband," Kiro explained. Candace laughs, mocking Kiro. Kiro seated in the car is modest. "Quit laughing," Kiro said. Paige and Devon going inside her mother's house.

Paige's mother and Paige walking in the hallway. Devon behind them. "I'm glad you're here, I found a strange marking on Balthazar's back," Paige's mom said. Paige asked, "A marking?" "Yeah I was giving him a bath and I found it," her mom said. Paige looking at five-year-old-looking Balthazar back that had the legendary Hadaquin marking on his back. Her mom asked "Do you know what it could be?" Shocked Paige and Paige's mother. Paige is very silent. Her mother kept asking, "Paige? Are you okay?" Paige, Paige's mother, Devon and Candace in Balthazar's nursery. Devon examining Balthazar's hadaquin marking. "This is defiantly the marking of the Hadaquin," Devon said. Paige's mom asked, "Why didn't you tell me, Paige? Why?" "It was very complicated mother," Paige slightly explained. "Please understand Ms. Malone, Paige has been under a lot of emotional stress," Candace plead. "I know but at least, Paige, you could have told me," Paige's mom said. "Now I know," Paige said.

Meanwhile, Coribun went to see Mary who was stayed at Paige's mother's house. Coribun and Mary in the guest room .Coribun and Mary kissing. Coribun asked, "So how have you been?" "Good. Paige's mom is nice, strange but nice," Mary said. "Soon things will be back to normal," Coribun said. "Yeah, trust in Shuudan. That's always been a motto," Mary said. Coribun asked, "Yours?" "To tell you the truth, I don't know anymore," Mary confessed.

Paige alone with Balthazar trying to rub the marking off Balthazar with soap. Paige's mother in background. "I tried that," her mom said. "Maybe I have to try harder," Paige in a restless stubborn voice. Then they tried another method of getting rid of the mark. Paige and Paige's mother trying to burn off the marking. Paige said about the fire, "No, no, it will spread!" Then, Paige used a high-tech laser to remove the marking. Candace and Devon watching from the background. Candace pleaded, "Paige, give up!" "No, I won't," Paige said. Devon touches Paige's shoulder. "Whatever you try Paige; you won't stop the fact that this the knights of hadaquin's calling card," Devon said. Paige looks at Devon. "But he is my son. I fought with the Hadaquin for him. It's more than spending time with him, it's physical, and it's more than anything I ever felt," Paige said. Devon answered, "I see that he is your son but he's destiny is with the Hadaquin. What if he goes back?" "He won't," Paige said forcefully. Devon asked, "How are you sure?" "I just am," Paige said confident. "Just warning you," Devon said. Paige holds hands with Devon, facing each other. "And I thank you for it, Devon. I want to treasure the time I have with him," Paige said. "So do so," Devon said.

Later that night, Paige telling a bedtime story to Balthazar in his bed. He is asleep. "I'll be ready when you leave but I know you will come back," Paige said.
