EPISODE 58: MOM'S THE WORD

ABOUT: Candace's mother admits to her that she needs her to be home more often so Candace quits the league all together and the Head Elder understands.

Earth Graveyard. Candace took her parents to her brother Curtis' grave. Candace with her head bowed. Candace's parents looking at Curtis' grave. Candace is behind them. "I wish I could make the pain go away for you," Candace said. Candace and her parents hug. "You did enough with making your pain go away, daughter. Death is part of life, no matter how it happens," Candace's dad said. "Yes your father is right. Thank you Candace," Candace's mom said. "Why thank me? I couldn't even tell Esclavar was my brother," Candace crying. "You didn't seek revenge against his murderer. We are very proud of you by doing so," Candace's mom said. Candace is happy, Candace's mom and dad with her. Candace asked, "Really?" "Really dear," Candace's dad said. "There was nothing you could do. Nobody would have known," Candace's mom said. Candace crying in another hug with her parents. Candace said, "But it was my own brother!" "We are here for you dear," Candace's mother said.

Shuudan Headquarters hallway, Isis is drinking bottled water. A familiar young guy passes by Isis. Isis stops him, "You look familiar. Do I know you?" The guy blushes. He says, "It's me." In a whisper, "Nikolud…" "Oh. Oh! Wow, cool disguise. But how did you?" "I have my ways. I wanted to be with you…" Isis then smiles. "Just call me Elliot," he said.

Candace and her mom sitting in her Shuudan bedroom. Candace asked, "So when will you be ready to return to your house?" Her mother answered, "About that Candace…" "Yes? You sound sad, mom," Candace said. Her mother said, "No, I'm all right. It's just that…" "I'll admit that I would feel more secure if you went back home with us," Candace's mom said. Candace asked, "Go back home?" "With all that has happen, I would feel better if you would there to protect us," Candace's mom said. "I never thought of it," Candace said. "You can be with Morris again," Candace's mom said. "Yea, there is that too," Candace said.

Her mom said, "Your friends can do things on their own." "You're asking me to leave my job as a ranger," Candace said. "I realize what this means to you," Candace's mom said. "I just don't know what to say," Candace said. Candace's mom stands up while Candace stays seated. "I'll leave you think about it," she said. Candace's mom comes out of Candace's room where her father is standing. He asked, "Did you ask her?" "I did," she answered. "I don't think that was a smart idea to do so," he said. "I just feel better if she was with us," Candace's mom said. "I know dear, I feel the same. But we shouldn't worry her with us. She has her job, which she is really good at," Candace's dad said.

The Keikenranger's meeting room in the Shuudan headquarters. Paige, Kiro, Coribun, and Devon gathered. Candace is coming in the room. Candace looks shocked. Paige asked, "What did your mom have to say?" Kiro said, "Candace, are you all right? You look flush!" "My mom… My mom… Asked me to return to Earth," Candace answered. They all were shocked, "What?!" Kiro asked, "Are you going to accept their proposition?" "I don't know yet," Candace said. Devon asked, "Where is Isis?" Coribun said, "Haven't see her." "Isis. I have to go to Isis. I need her help with my decision," Candace said. "What about my help? We haven't even successfully figure what demon is messing with us," Paige said. "I hate to say this but Paige has a point," Kiro said. Candace leaving the room.
"You guys can handle it," Candace said.

Isis and Elliot sitting down on a patio table in the Shuudan garden outside of the headquarters. Candace comes forth. Candace asked, "Isis, can I talk to you?" "Sure, Candace. Excuse me, Elliot" Isis said. "Sure," Elliot said. Isis stood up and Candace pulled her aside to a nearby tree. Isis asked, "What is it, Candace?" "Isis, my mother has asked me to go with them," Candace said. Isis asked, "To Earth?" "Yes, back to Earth," Candace said. Isis asked, "What did you tell them?" Elliott smirks. "So Keiken Red has found her parents," Elliott thought. "I have no answer yet," Candace said. "Why not? It's just for a while," Isis said. "Um… they want me to stay permanently," Candace said. "Wow, permanent is just so permanent," Isis said. "Yeah, I know," Candace said. Her eyes strays to Elliot, "Whose the cute guy?" "Oh, that's Elliot," Isis said.

The Elders conference room, the nine elders around the arc table. "She is coming here," the Head Elder said. Candace comes in. "Hi," Candace said. The Head Elder asked, "What would you like to tell us, Candace?" "My mom wants me to go back home with them," Candace said. The Head Elder asked, "What is your decision?" "I quit," Candace said.

Candace packing up her stuff from her locker in the Shuudan locker room. Candace giving in her Shuudan uniform to a worker. Candace saying goodbye to her room. Scene four: Candace accepting a medal from the Head Elder.

Candace giving her glorifier device to Paige. "Here is my glorifier," Candace said. "You should keep it, you know, just in case," Paige said. "I rather not. I have been down that road before. I've put my family in danger long enough," Candace said. Paige bows her head. Candace sort of hugs her. "I can kind of relate," Paige said. "You are heading there. But you'll be all right," Candace said. Paige asked, "You really think so?" "I know so," Candace said.

Candace saying goodbye to Devon, Coribun, Paige, Isis and Kiro. They are all crying except for Kiro, he is smoking. Candace said, "Devon, I just began to know you but you have been a great friend. Coribun, you are great fighter and comic relief. Paige, you were hard to tolerate before but you have grown to be heartwarming mother and ranger. Isis, you will remember who and what you are, the best of luck." Candace and Kiro hug, he drops the cigarette. "Kiro…" "I'll miss you lots girl," he said. "The head elder has promoted you to leader," Candace said. "Oh! For real? Cool," Kiro said. "I knew you would get a kick out of that. Take care," Candace said. "You too," Kiro said.

Later, Candace and Mary. Mary will take over as Keiken Red. "Take care girl," Mary said. "You too best friend. Look after Coribun. He's quite horny," Candace said. "You know I will," Mary said. "I know you'll make me proud as Keiken Red," Candace said. "You can count on it," Mary said.

The others saying bye to Candace and her parents leaving down the Shuudan headquarters. Candace blinks her eye and blows a kiss. Candace said, "Until next time…"
