EPISODE 68: TRUST IN LOVE

ABOUT: Paige's anger about loosing Balthazar is put toward Isis and she feels discouraged about the team's efforts to help her.

Continued from Episode 67. Devon and Coribun dragging a drunk Paige into the meeting room where Kiro, Isis and Mary are sitting around a round table. Devon said, "Here she is… drunk." "Man, is she heavy," Coribun said. "I knew she feared the day Balthazar would leave but I did not know she would take it this extreme," Isis said. "All people have their own way of dealing with situations," Mary said. Kiro approached the drunken confused Paige. "Paige… Paige listen, listen to me, this is an intervention. We are concerned," Kiro said to her. Devon and Coribun try to sit Paige down on a chair but she falls. "Oh this isn't going to be easy," Coribun said. Paige vomits on the floor. "Aww man, she vomited on my shoes," Coribun said. Paige gets up. "I don't need any of you guys help. Balthazar is gone. My pride and joy is gone, no one can help," she spoke up. "But that doesn't mean you have to go berserk," Isis said. "Buzz off. You can't solve everything," Paige said. Isis commented, "I didn't say-" "Save it," Paige said. "Isis has a point, Paige. Don't put your anger on other people," Mary said. "We are here for each other, damn it," Kiro said. Paige gets up and said, "Just give me my space." Paige leaves.

Isis with her head bowed, "Paige is right." "Don't listen to her. She is just drunk," Mary said. "But who says she is not right? Maybe it is a moment of clarity," Isis said. "Isis, you can't be serious," Kiro said. Mary shouted, "Kiro!" "She actually believes that drunken bitch," Kiro said. Isis is angry. "So that's how you really feel about me," Isis said. "I don't think Kiro meant it," Devon said. Coribun asked, "Can't we all get along?" "All I meant was that was overreacting," Kiro said. "You have a funny way to show you care," Mary said. Devon reaching out to Isis, "Isis, he didn't mean it. Come on." "I'm sorry. I simply don't feel like it," Isis said as she was leaving. She left the room. "Three down already. Damn, I'm a bad leader," Kiro said. "Don't say that Kiro. It's just the circumstances," Devon said. "Kiro, you should go talk to Isis," Maru said. "I don't think that's a wise idea," Coribun said.

Meanwhile somewhere deep in the Warúi caverns, Nikolud lying on dark and evil blood. White veins bump among the blood. "Ah… Ah… The dark and evil blood is surging through me," Nikolud said. A dark elder appears and stands above the pond of dark blood on Nikolud. "That's to take that human out of you. It had made you blind with love," the Dark Elder said. The Dark Elder picks up a white veins and plays with it like a wriggling worm. Nikolud groans. "You are infected with human blood. It is all thanks to your no bad father," the Dark Elder said. The Dark Elder orders Nikolud, "You have to get her back. Contact her." Nikolud under the influence of the blood, said, "Yes." "I see it is progressing. I shall leave you," the Dark Elder said. Dark Elder left Nikolud. Nikolud was finally alone. He looked around and then pulled out the veins from him. "Fool, this blood has no effect," Nikolud said.

Kiro goes outside of the meeting room into the hall and goes to Isis who is walking off. Kiro called, "Isis! Isis!" She snapped, "What the hell do you want?" "I came to apologize for my attitude back there," Kiro said. "Look Kiro, I said I love Nikolud and you didn't give him a chance. He is different. He is good inside," Isis said. Kiro asked, "Where is this coming from?" "What is going to make me think you are on my side if you don't have a leap of faith and believe me when I say he is good," Isis said. Kiro responded, "Because I was not sure and I did not want to endanger the team and not to mention, you!" "I can handle myself," Isis said. Kiro asked, "If you can handle yourself so good, why did Esclavar catch you in that closing wall room?" [Reference from Episode 6] Isis answered, "That was long ago, before I knew I was the entity!" "Now that you know you're the entity, it hasn't changed whether you candle handle yourself or not," Kiro said. Out of air Isis said, "How can you say that?" Kiro said, "I know you have been going through a hard time and all but has it ever crossed your mind that I have a lot of responsibility on my shoulders as leader? The safety of the others!" Isis shuts Kiro up by saying, "You want to talk about responsibility on shoulders? I have the whole fucking universe, Kiro! The universe!" Kiro recuperates and tells off Isis. "Oh yeah? All Nikolud wants is to lure you to the Warui's side and then what? You screw the universe!" Isis stormed off.

Isis packs a bag in her room. Isis teleports out. Isis walking in the Warúi terrain close to Nikolud. Nikolud asked, "Running away?" Isis asked, "Sure am, want to come along?" Nikolud said, "I'm up for it. Where to?" "Away…," Isis said. Isis and Nikolud close to each other about to kiss. "Away from the Warúi?," Nikolud asked. "Away from the Shuudan?", Isis asked.

Paige goes to Mary, Coribun, Devon and Kiro. "Paige," Mary said. "Sober?", Devon asked. "I just checked Isis' bedroom to apologized for my drunken behavior, she's not there," Paige said. "She must be somewhere," Devon said. "She is nowhere to be found," Paige said. Mary asked, "Where do you think she might have gone?" "We can track her with her communicator," Devon said. "Definitely, lets get her before anything bad happens to her," Kiro said.

Later on Earth, Paige, Mary, Coribun, Devon and Kiro teleport to a Clown fast food restaurant. Paige asked, "Clownies?" Coribun asked, "Where is she?" "I don't think she is here," Mary said. "We have been had," Devon said. "Duh," Kiro said. Kiro picks up Isis' communicator, which he found on the floor. "Damn," Kiro whispered to himself as he clenched the communicator in his hands to his heart.
