EPISODE 69: FUGITIVES

ABOUT: Isis and Nikolud are on the run from the rangers and the Warúi.

Isis and Elliott (Nikolud) in a brown Cadillac car on the open road. Elliott is driving. "I cut off all communications with the Warúi," Elliott informed Isis. "I did the same with the Shuudan," Isis said. Isis asked, "How did you do so?" "The Warúi believe that the source if their darkness is a certain life force known as the dark and evil blood. They have been pumping it in me, what they don't know is that I have resisting it," Elliott said. Isis asked, "How do you resist?" "My father told me before he died that if you have a love, a true love, nothing is stronger than that. It overpowers everything," Elliott said. Isis asked, "What he said was nice. Was he a poet?" "Sort of," Elliott said. "Tell me about your father," Isis said. "He was human," Elliott said. "Human? So that means you are half-human," Isis said. "Yes I am," Elliott revealed. Isis asked, "So how was Paige able to transport you with that demon spell?" Elliott asked, "It didn't work that well, remember?" "Oh yeah, that is true. It took like two or three times," Isis said.

Elliott pointed at a diner. It was somewhat a down home diner, two story high, painted in a light coral color, it had an apartment on the top, had a yellow roof, white canopies and blue-tinted windows. "Are you hungry? We can eat at that diner," he said. "Yeah. Cool. Sure," Isis said. The Cadillac parks at the diner. Isis and Elliott walk inside. Elliott asks, "How about this booth?" "It's good," Isis said. They go to sit in a booth. "Ladies first," Elliott said sultry. "How courteous of you," Isis thanked. The old lady waitress goes up to them with a menu. She asked, "What will you have?" Isis and Elliott said the same thing but with different timing, "We don't know yet." "Ah, to be young and in love," the waitress flattered. "Yeah, that's us," Elliott said. After the couple deciding on their order, receiving their order and the waitress observing the couple. The waitress asked, "Ya'll have a place to stay?" "We really don't," Isis said. Elliott asked, "Why you ask?" The Waitress said, "Well I have a place upstairs that is empty. Would you like to stay? You can stay by paying your way by working here. This old lady is oh so lonely and having young'ns in love such as you're selves would sure brighten up this around here." Isis and Elliott looked at each other for a long hard while, not too long but a considerable moment. Isis answered, "Sure, why not?" "My name is Betty June," the waitress said. The couple traded names.

That evening, Kiro, Paige, Devon, Coribun and Mary were riding in the Flaring Roadster searching for Isis on Earth. Kiro was driving the car. Paige is in the passenger's seat. "They have to be on Earth," Kiro said. Paige said, "How can you be so sure-" "Shut up," Kiro snapped. Devon protested, "But Kiro…" "Shut up," Paige retorted. Coribun said to Mary, "We better keep quiet." "Don't have to tell me twice," Mary said.

Meanwhile, Giant drones known only as the Otoins stomping among an Earth city looking for Isis and Nikolud.

Elliott and Isis entering the upstairs bedroom, Betty June the Waitress showing them around. "I know it is not much," Betty June said as the couple looked around in certain awe. "It's good for the time being," Elliott said. Betty June asked, "Running away?" "Soft of," Isis said. Elliott checked if the Warúi sent Betty June by looking around at her through his evil-sensitive eyes. He read her aura, it was bright and light, in other words, human. He shakes his head to Isis. Elliott whispers to Isis, "She isn't." Isis asked, "Are you sure?" "Yes," Elliott said. "Well, I'm going to leave you two alone," Betty June said. "Thank you again," Isis said. Betty June closed the door after her.

Elliott and Isis sit on the bed. Elliott looked at Isis and asked, "Could she be of the Shuudan instead?" "I don't know," Isis said. Elliott changed the subject in just cause and with a face full of happiness, "I like this. Being around you completes me." "Every time you open you're mouth, it gets better and better," Isis said. "My mother was a demon. A chaotic one who while partaking a stroll in disguise as a human and fell in love with my father," Elliott said. Isis asked, "And what happened?" "They got married without anyone knowing. They had me. My father named me Elliott. She then joined into the Warúi for her excellence in crime," Elliott explained. "The Warúi seeped the dark and evil blood in her and she murdered my father. The Warúi gave me the name of Nikolud." "Oh," Isis said. "My father loved my mother even though he knew," Elliott said. Isis asked, "He knew she was a demon?" "Yes," Elliott said. Isis asked, "And he still stuck by her?" "Yes he did. He even knew she was going to kill him. He still stuck by her. I grew up with the Warúi but never liked it. I never saw my mother after she murdered my father. I life felt empty until you were in it," Elliott said. "You went through whole lot, as did I," Isis said. "Isis, I admit at first I was sent to lure you to the Warúi. But I gave that up. I never wanted them. I love you even if you don't want me," Elliott said. "I do want you. I do love you. I love you because I do. You understand me. You are the only thing in life that makes sense right now," Isis said. Elliott and Isis share a passionate kiss. Their kiss seemed to last forever. Isis gently pushed Elliott down on the bed. Isis unbuttoned Elliott's collar. Elliott moved his hands from Isis chest to waist. He looked her very zealously. As Isis removed Elliott's shirt from under him, he removed Isis' shirt. She kissed him as he lied on the bed unhooking her bra.

The Otoins drones traveling near the Diner, Betty June sitting on the roof in a lawn chair sees them. "The strange things people see in their dreams, especially if they are awake," she said.

Shirtless Elliott and Isis under the covers in the burrowed bed. "That was great," Elliott said. "Yes it was," Isis said. Betty June knocks the door. She beckoned, "Young'ns, hurry open the door! It's an emergency!" She heard a female voice, "In a minute…" "I think you might have to come out now, it is of the utmost urgency," Betty said. Isis and Elliott dressed come out of the room and listen to Betty June. Betty asked, "These shiny doohickeys attack ya'll?" "Uh-huh," Isis said. "Sneak through the back," Better said. The Otoins drones shoot a red laser.
