ANGLOMAN Vs. KEIKENRANGER Part 5
Written by Scott Harris and Gerald Conde

"I am Red London! Warrior of fire! And leader of our protectors."
"And I am Blackthorn! Conqueror of worlds! And your destroyer."
"In the name of all that is just, I shall not fail!"
"In the name of darkness, I will crush you!"
The two warriors charged at each other. Scissors met sword. Good met evil. This was to be the first great battle of the century. The fiery warrior that is Red London had stepped into near-impossible odds but he wouldn't lose. He would never give up. He had too much depending on this. Ivy, his friends, the world. All of it counted on him surviving, if not winning.
Blackthorn swung his weapon but Red backflipped, dodging the scissors but Blackthorn was quicker. As Red came down, the devious doctor planted a kick to his chest, sending him flying. The hero gasped and gripped the edge of the bridge they were fighting on. He was now dangling over the stinking yellow river, holding on by one hand. "This is Red London?" Blackthorn muttered in disappointment, "I was expecting more from the leader of my greatest enemies. Oh well, I can't expect much from a child." The villain lifted his foot and brought it down on Red's hand. The leader gasped from the pain but kept his grip.
"Fall blast you!" Blackthorn roared and ground his foot down on the endangered boy's hand again. Red gritted his teeth but lost his grip, tumbling towards the river.

Data flashed across his visor and he smirked, "Oh yeah, this suit has everything." His hands went for his belt buckle and suppressed the border. The front of the buckle popped open and a grappling hook fired out, attaching to the underside of the bridge. Red quickly retracted himself to the bridge but stayed beneath it. Blackthorn raised an eyebrow, "…No splash." He looked over the side of the bridge and suddenly felt something kick him in the buttock area. With a bloodcurdling cry, the doctor fell towards the river and vanished beneath its surface. "Happy trails ya bastard!" Red called down. He heard something behind the throne and ran to it, forcing it away. He gasped, seeing the tank of liquid, the bound Ivy inside. "Hold on Ivy!" he dealt a punch to the tank, blowing it wide open. The Oriental girl fell into his arms, crying, "Oh god…Scott I was so scared…I was so scared…"

"Windsor Warrior Wind!"
"Shoebury Boomerang Bang!"
"Epping Shock Shot!"
The three attacks impacted onto Ketamax. Weakened and battered, the knight teleported away. "Chrome coward!" Giselle growled then coughed out blood as six fists collided with her head, sending the Gladiator woman backwards and into the wall. "Cheap shot!" she shouted and ran at the Keikenranger, her sword out. The Keikenranger looked at each other, shrugged then struck a pose.
"Keikenranger!" Keikenred announced, "United Impact!" The six saluted then as they called their colours, launched into the air.
"Black!"
"Pink!"
"Blue!"
"Yellow!"
"Red!"
"Green!"
Giselle screamed in pain as six attacks landed on her body and she hit the wall, almost destroying it. Red and Pink arrived on the scene, to the relief of the other heroes. "Glad to have you back Ivy," Yellow smiled. "Good to be back," Pink replied, "Now let's teach this Xena wannabe what it means to mess with us!"
The Angloman stood in a circle and joined hands. Coloured streams of energy fired from their visors and formed a rainbow orb above them. The Keikenranger each drew their Shindou Blasters and took aim.
"Keikenranger!" yelled Keikenred, "Fire!"
"Royal Finisher!" the Angloman declared.
Six white blasts fired from the Shindou Blasters, followed by the rainbow orb. The attacks hit Giselle at full blast and the Gladiator was launched through the wall and into deep space.
"Alright!" the heroes slapped each other high fives. "And what about Doctor Blackthorn?" asked Black. "Trust me," Red smirked, "We're not gonna be seeing Blackthorn for a long time."

"Don't be so sure Angloman!" a voice roared. The 11 heroes turned their heads and gasped as one. The stumbling, shaking, dripping, battle-worn form of Doctor Blackthorn emerged from the darkness. In his hand were five different coloured crystals: crimson, navy, saffron, grey and purple. "These will be your end Angloman!" Blackthorn laughed psychotically, "Let it be known that I, Doctor Blackthorn, have created your ultimate destruction!" "Don't count on it!" Keikengreen tossed his nunchuku, knocking the orbs from Blackthorn's hand and through the hole left by Giselle. "And for the final touch," Keikenblack raised his hand, "Black Sky Storm!" Darkness enshrouded the hallway and lightning struck the floor, causing it to catch light. The Angloman and Keikenranger fled as Blackthorn vanished in the smoke and fire. "I'll get you…!" were the last words they heard.

Deeper into the ship, Manik, Deltra and Ketamax ran towards the awaiting D-Fighters.

"We're almost there!" Keikenblue yelled. They were coming towards the bay where the four shuttles were stored. They climbed into their designated ships and launched into space.
"Thank you for saving me," Pink smiled. "It's ok," Red replied. "Hold the mushy stuff until after we get away from that exploding fortress!" Blue snapped. Behind them, the Darkshot fortress exploded into oblivion and unseen to the warriors, a single D-Fighter flew away from the chaos.
"So it's over," Black asked, "We've accomplished our mission?" "The Angloman are finished…" Yellow sighed, "It's all over." "Yeah I guess so," Red looked down. Despite the dangers of the Darkshot, the Angloman enjoyed being heroes, loved their adventures. Even Ivy liked living on the edge. But now it was over. Blackthorn had vanished, insane and burnt. His last resort was sent away and his minions, so it seemed, were destroyed. The Angloman had won but it had not been a glorious victory.

Soon, the heroes were gathered in the lab. Caster and Belle were looking at them with false smiles. "So Blackthorn went mad?" Caster asked. "It seems so," Rowan replied. "Completely hatstand," Beverley ended. "I guess I should take the A-" Caster began when the alarms went off. Belle ran to a console and read off the datascreen, "Professor! A massive surge of negative energy has arisen all over the country but it doesn't seem to be active." "The crystals," Scott muttered, remembering what Blackthorn was holding before his apparent demise.
"Guys," Alan smiled, "We're back in business!"

Later that night, Scott seemed to be alone in the Den. He was flicking through TV channels boredly when he heard footsteps. Kiro sat down beside him on the sofa, "Anything on?" "What are you still doing here?" Scott asked quietly. "Believe me, I'd be glad to out of here. We're staying one more night in England," Kiro replied flatly then looked at the younger hero, "You're mad for that girl. What's her name? Rose?" "Ivy," Scott corrected. "Right," Kiro said, "Anyway, you keep getting crazy over her and you'll wind up in trouble. Trust me." Scott looked at him oddly, "Don't tell me you had a lady love?" "Her name was Lindo. She… she was my everything and I went after her. I lost my team mates and in the end, I eventually lost her." "Whatever," Scott turned back to the TV screen. "You just be careful kid," Kiro got up and walked away.

A short while passed when Scott felt someone's arms wrap around him from behind. He turned around and before he knew what was happening, he was pushed onto his back by Ivy delivering a powerful kiss.
Unfortunately, they were interrupted by an alarm going off and the Angloman and Keikenranger were gathered in the lab. "What is it Professor?" asked Alan. "Apostles at Piccadilly," he replied. "What?!" Coribun and Rowan yelled in unison, "But that's where Sega World is!"

"We have more pressing matters than Sega World," Candace muttered, "Well…we might as well get one more fight in before we leave." "Then let's go," said Scott. "Right," the other Angloman replied and followed him out. "You heard the boy," Candace agreed, "Let's go." "Right," the other Keikenranger followed her out after the Angloman.

At Piccadilly Circus, it was utter chaos. Apostles were indeed attacking but these ones were different. Not only were they clothed in crimson rather than their usual dark green, they were fighting without the leadership of Ketamax or Deltra.
"What's going on here?!" Blue snapped, "The Tin-Man and Ms. Bondage aren't here?!" "Here or not," said Keikengreen, "It's go time."
"Rule Britannia! Seitou Sentai Angloman!"
"In the name of the Shuudan! Shindou Sentai Keikenranger!"
The Apostles raced towards them, their usual weapons replaced by long, blood red bo staffs. "What is going on here?!" Red snapped, "These Apostles are completely different!"
"Because they are my Apostles!" a voice roared. It was disturbingly similar to Red's but more gravely and with a metallic echo. Everyone looked up. Perched on a building was a dark crimson version of red with fang like shapes around the visor and a black skull replacing the white cross. He also had a long, crimson cloak.
"Who the Hell are you?!" Red snapped. "I…" the crimson figure leapt from his perch, landing perfectly, "…Am AntiLondon. I am your double Red London, and your superior." "My ass," Red growled, "Bring it on you worthless clone." "A clone? How weak!" Isis shouted. "No Red London," AntiLondon smiled sadistically, "Fight me later. If you can deal with my Apostles, you will know where to find me." With that, the villainous copy vanished in a rush of fire. The Apostles were on the attack again and it was a long and hard battle before the heroes finally destroyed them. The Keikenranger looked at each other. The Angloman were in for the toughest battle of their lives but the older warriors had to get back to their own country.

The next day came. The Keikenranger stood on the end of the Southend pier, a boat waiting behind them. The Angloman, Belle and Professor Caster stood opposite them.
"It was nice working with you Ms. Regan," Caster offered his hand to Candace. The Jamaican woman smiled and shook it warmly, "Same here." "Hey kid," Kiro looked at Scott, "Good luck, and remember what I said to ya." "Try not to get kidnapped again, okay kid?" Paige said to Ivy. "I'll try," Ivy said. Alan and Devon gave each other silent nods and a smile. "Ciya Belle, Bev," Coribun winked, earning giggles from the two girls, which in turn earned a sweatdropped expression from the others. "Well we'd better be off now," said Candace, "Good luck in your future challenges Angloman." "Same to you Keikenranger," Scott nodded.
"In the name of our Queen Elizabeth the II," the Angloman saluted, "Godspeed."
At that, they watched as the Keikenranger boarded their boat and sailed off.
